After our son married and moved out of our family home, we became empty nesters in a rather large home. My husband wanted to sell and I was concerned about the economy and the timing, it was a few weeks before Christmas 2010.
We contacted Jeannene Brown-Aid and Michael Aid with Bend And Beyond Real Estate. We had worked with Michael and Jeannene several times in the past (we originally met them when we were a frustrated expired listing in 2003), as we had listed our previous home with a friend and it had not sold.
We knew if our present home could be sold at this time, they could do it! Their consult had us putting our home on the market before Christmas 2010. We worked with their team of professionals through staging, photos and write ups. All were very prompt and did an excellent professional job. We had several good offers and sold our home in only 45 days and closed in less than 80 days (from list date to close date).
Our sales price was a price we liked, which was above the appraisal and we were moved out by March 1st. In fact, our home netted the highest dollar per square foot that our rural development had seen in this tough economy. Jeannene and Michael also patiently worked with us to find our new home and made sure we were happy with the results. We can’t say enough about the help Bend and Beyond Real Estate team gave us through this stressful time and would recommend them to anyone thinking of buying or selling in Central Oregon.

That choice was not for her and a planned choice. She knew that she wanted to guide her own ship and determine it's course. Most individuals enter Real Estate careers via other professions. Not Jeannene. She embarked on a search for the career path that would engage all of her strengths and passions and found that real estate was the combination that ignited and inspired her game plan. She found out early on that she had an inner makeup of seeing an end goal and then figured out how best to achieve the desired result.

Phone: 541-693-2008Send Michael a message.Michael was raised in Palo Alto, California where his father was an engineer in the aerospace industry and the hectic paced lifestyle was the norm. The simple pleasures of relaxing and enjoying life were all complex, which he saw daily working in the counseling field. In 1984, after a back injury, he decided to escape from the Bay Area and moved to Bend to enjoy a higher quality environment and slower lifestyle, not to mention great fishing and hunting.
Through extensive physical therapy and exercise ( of which dance played a major role) he retrained himself and opened a small service business, which he owned and operated for nine years. In 1987 he was asked to teach country/western dance for COCC (Central Oregon Community College) and was named Continuing Education Teacher of the year in 1991.
Combining his previous counseling skills with his business experience and people orientation has made real estate the ideal career choice, especially selling business opportunities and commercial properties.
Michael is a Past President of CID (Commercial Investment Division of the Central Oregon Assoc. of Realtors).Currently Michael is the head of the team’s Short Sale division.

I worked actively for 2 years both selling properties and working with buyers, prior to taking some time out to care for my family as my husband had an injury to heal. Living here in Central Oregon my family and I have taken advantage of all of the wonderful things it has to offer, especially the skiing programs for out two daughters at the Mt Bachelor Sports Education Foundation !
